Sharp Cheddar is a playful, 70’s cartoon-inspired typeface that was initially designed in electric tape.

I animated a title sequence as a type specimen for my typeface, to the song ‘Tank!’ composed by Yoko Kanno.
I was inspired by the song’s spy-fantasy feel, as well as by the works of Saul Bass for Hitchcock films like ‘Psycho’.
